Licensed Café and Restaurant
We have a fully licensed café/restaurant to cater for all needs of in-house guests. Guests can either choose to dine in the beautiful homestead, on the open deck or in the privacy of their own room or balcony.

Kayaks, Rowboat and Hammocks
Kayaks, a rowboat, and snorkelling gear are all available free of charge for guest use. There are also indoor and outdoor games and rope swings, or you may like to just relax in one of the 40 hammocks tucked into the bush throughout the property.

The Bath House and Massage Suite
Massage treatments and relaxation therapies are available in our decadent and unique Bath House and Massage Suite. Our qualified therapist of offers a range of wonderful spa treatments for healing and indulgence or enjoy a luxurious herbal bath infusion in our romantic twin baths overlooking the bay.

Our friendly receptionist will be happy to answer your questions and book Marlborough activities based out of Lochmara Lodge.

Daily House keeping
Guest rooms are serviced daily, by our friendly staff.

Guest Laundry
There is a washing machine ($2) and a clothes dryer ($4) for guests to use. Guests can purchase a plant based eco store laundry detergent from reception. There is also a clothesline available.

Internet
Broadband internte and wireless is available in the café. Vouchers for one hour sessions are $7 from the café.

Shop
We have a limited supply of small items in-house guests might need, including sunscreen, insect repellent etc.

Guest Phone
Cell phones get good reception in certain areas around Lochmara Lodge. A phone is available for emergency guest use in Reception.

  • Sun block, sun hat, sun glasses (the New Zealand sun is very strong in summer)
  • Warm clothes (for winter walks)
  • Rain jacket (not that it rains often)
  • Hiking boots or sandals
  • Torch
  • Good book
  • Insect repellent (not many of these either)
  • Camera
  • A smile!
