All rates include entry to the Wildlife Recovery and Arts Centre.
Standard tariffs valid until June 2012. Peak rates apply 24 Dec - 28 Feb, 6 - 9 April 2012. Rates do not include meals or water transfers (see below). All prices are for double occupancy (two people). $35 per extra adult, $15 per extra child 5-14, under five years free. All rooms include daily servicing, linen, ensuite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. A portacot is available free of charge on request. Please note Lochmara Lodge is closed each winter from early June - mid September.
School Holiday Special - Kids go Free
Make the most of every childhood minute. Book your family day trip or accommodation at Lochmara in the New Zealand Spring 2011 or Autumn 2012 school holidays and kids under 15 will travel for free on our boat and stay for free in your room. No more than two children per adult and meals are not included. Book online or contact our reservation team to plan your adventure.
Access and Water Taxi Transfers
Access to Lochmara Lodge is by water or on foot or mountainbike via the Queen Charlotte Track. Our fast water taxi departs Picton regularly for transfers to Lochmara Lodge. Rates each way Picton to/from Lochmara Lodge are:
- Adult $27.50 one way
- Child $14 one way
Water Taxi Schedule:
- Depart Picton at 9am, 12.15pm and 3.15 daily
- Depart Lochmara at 11.00am and 2.15pm and 4pm (Spring/Autumn) or 5pm (summer).
Charter tranfers are available on demand. A surcharge may apply.
There are also options for transfers from Picton which include a walk on the Queen Charlotte Track on the day of arrival, with luggage transferred directly to the Lodge; please enquire for rates and times.
