There are three inside art galleries at Lochmara Lodge. All galleries are open daily from 8am – 7pm.
The Huia Gallery
The Huia Gallery hosts a permanent collection of artwork from artists from New Zealand and abroad. The predominant medium in the
Huia gallery is painting, although printmaking, photography, and sculpture are also represented.
The Window Gallery
Centrally located adjacent to our cafe, The Window Gallery offers a changing series of solo-artist exhibitions throughout the year.
This intimate gallery is a fantastic space to access art from emerging New Zealand artists across a range of mediums including
painting, printmaking, photography, small sculpture, and jewellery.
The Gallery Shop
The Gallery Shop is located at Lochmara Lodge reception, and presents small artworks and gifts from New Zealand artists, including
wall sculpture, small paintings, cards, and jewellery.
New Zealand art is also showcased throughout the Lodge in all public and accommodation spaces.
