Welcome to Lochmara Arts Centre
 Lochmara Lodge is a unique and vibrant centre for the
arts in the stunning Marlborough Sounds. The Arts Centre supports and celebrates New Zealand artists and provides a unique venue for visitors and art lovers to access and interact
with art and the artists themselves.
The Arts Centre is not a physical space, but a hub of artistic endeavour throughout the Lodge. It includes an outdoor sculpture trail, two indoor exhibition spaces, an annual artist retreat, artists in residence
studio, regular music and live art events, lectures, creative networking events, and a Spring and Autumn workshop series for artists,
art-enthusiasts, and novices looking for a new experience.
The Centre aspires to be a nationally and internationally recognised centre for the arts and the environment, allowing people to see art in a different space and
artists to contribute to environmental awareness and conservation. A percentage of all art sales from the Centre go directly to environmental conservation projects through the
Marlborough Sounds Wildlife Recovery Trust and the Eco Artists New Zealand Trust. |
